America's Audition Coach!

Inspector Mom", Lifetime Movie Channel's newest and juicy millennium version of "Murder, She Wrote", has the appeal of a "Desperate Housewives" meets "Knots Landing" cul-de-sac.  This Lifetime movie seemed perfect for Lar to take on!  As Regina, the red-headed fireball, Lar tortures her family and friends with her perfectionism and suposedly high-dollar lifestyle.  "She was an absolute blast to play!" Lar smiles, being the one you love to hate!  "My specialty, and so much fun!", she laughs.

Inspector Mom stars Danica McKellar of "The Wonder Years."  "I loved doing a show that the whole family can watch and yet still has an adult kick of sexy, murder and who-done-it!!  I was also excited that several of my acting clients had prominent roles in both the two films and the webisodes."

From "Knots Landing" to "Beverly Hills 90210", starring roles in feature films and television and currently a celebrity guest host on the QVC Shopping Channel, Lar is an actor, speaker, author, career caoch and a mighty proud mother of two!

Her deliciously titilating three-year role on "Knots Landing" offered her the opportunity to work with such liminaries as Michelle Lee and William Devane.

Following her award-winning role as a young prostitute on CBS's "Children of the Night", Lar played an Arian terrorist in "Hunter", the psychic and telekinetic girl who defeats Jason in "Friday the 13th, Part VII", the innocent girl opposite Eva Gabor in "Princess Academy" and a sexy vamp in "Fatal Charm", to name a few.

She has been a featured guest on "Oprah", "60 Minutes" and "Entertainment Tonight" plus numerous local and syndicated talk and radio shows.

For 15 years, over 90 million viewers (including the UK and Germany) have been watching her on QVC as the selling dynamo responsible for millions of dollars of on-air sales.

After being widowed, Lar decided to return to her native state of Texas to raise her children.  Since that move, she rapidly became Texas' most elite career coach for actors, models and pageantry.  Lar's production company - Ooh La Lar Productions - has recently produced an independent film on teen heroine abuse, written and directed by her film student nephew and shot entirely in Dallas, Texas.

Lar's first book "Get Started, Not Scammed! - Strategies for beginner actors and models" is the ultimate guide to the entertainment industry.  This long over due and highly anticipated book goes behind the scenes to tell the truth and warn parents and their children about the many scams in the marketplace today.  "I like to educate young people so they don't waste their time or money doing something not right for them."
